This is my magic maths activity. I wonder how the answer may be always 5, 3 or 10?

Now, I wonder what happens with that always 3 trick if I didn't pick a number from 1-10. I guess I shall try and lets see what happens.

WHAAAAAAAT? Then why did they say between 1-10? Maybe it's because multiplying it by 5 is thought to be too hard. Then why did that always 10 trick not say 1-10? Because it said multiply by 3 which may be hard. Anyway, please leave a comment. Hope you liked this.

Perspective photo

I have done a forced perspective photo which took me a very long time to finally get right. It was REALLY hard because:

1. I had to use my chromebook to do it and not a phone like in the video. The camera was on the front not the back which makes it hard.

2. I had to get the lighting correct so I had to fiddle with the curtains.

My geometree

This is my first post for the summer learning journey 2021-2022. It is my geometree, which I did on google drawing. It's probably easier to do on paper instead, because I found it really hard to colour it in. How I did that was by using shapes and fiddling around with them. Here is the screenshot of it:

It made my arm really sore, having to put in all those lines. Keep looking on my blog for more posts!

Sherbet

Me and my class made sherbet

When you take it what do you observe: Sour, sweet,  fizz,  foam, chemical reaction, bubbly.

What is happening?  The baking soda is a base and the citric acid is an acid.

The icing sugar and (Raro)  flavour and there or taste.

As a solid the acid and the base do not react but in the presence of moisture (saliva)

The citric acid and the baking soda react to give off carbon dioxide gas -

This feels like a popping or fizzing sensation!

Recipe:

Citric Acid ½ teaspoon

Icing Sugar 1 teaspoon

Baking soda ¼ teaspoon

Raro or some other  flavour ½ teaspoon 

Put in bag and mix 

Learn: We learnt how to make sherbet we are investigating and exploring chemical reactions

Create: We created sherbet to share with ourselves and our whanau/ family

Share: We have written the instructions on how to make sherbet here. 

What should be the next country to host the next olympics

This is my Biteable video about what should be the next country to host the next olympics. I took a lot of time on the video because it's like 2 minutes. I hope that you like the music. I used to choose a different music all the time but now I like this one.

There will be a short pause of the music close to the end of the video but that meant to happen.

In the last 2 days I have been doing my reading create tasks and I have finished. And the next instruction is to post it on my blog so that is what I am doing right now. This is Matariki so I made a scratch project that draws a star then suddenly starts scribbling all over the screen, with random scribbles every time.

I learned how to do this at the student summit yesterday and I made this today.

Updating my google slides

Today, I went to Hornby Primary school because I was doing stuff there. One thing was updating my google slides so this is a video of animating. The other things I did was drawing yourself in google slides. That was boring and we didn't have much time for that anyway. Another thing we did was biteable. That COULD have been better if I had enough time. There was one more thing that was scratch. That was fun and I learned how to draw using scratch. 

I liked it because the animations look like it's magic and I like Harry Potter and it's magic. Leave a comment please. But before I end this, this is the ranking for what was my favourite thing I did for the Student Summit today.

Updating my google slides! 

This term our school has been learning how to put on a production. We have worked hard to learn our lines, songs and dance moves. We created many of our own costumes to wear at the show. After weeks of practising. Finally the day arrived and it was time for the show. We shared our production with our friends, family and members of the community. Both shows were sold out. I have out some pictures of the show above for you to see. The name of the show was called Dragon Days and it had a great message about not judging a book by its cover!  Have you ever been in a show? What was the last show you watched?
